Welcome to the HTG
The Horticultural Therapy Garden at St. Gregory’s was designed for those with special needs--physical, social, or emotional. Here, visitors of all ages and abilities can experience the restorative effects of nature. The Garden features wide, level, stone paths that allow wheel chairs to navigate freely; raised planting beds afford a hands-on connection to those with diminished
mobility; vibrant colors, pungent
scents and unusual textures
enhance the experience for
people with limited senses.
The HTG serves people of all faiths, races, ethnicities and ages; its education and enrichment programs are without religious content and offered free to health and service organizations throughout the Hudson River Valley. Young people and seniors are especially welcome.
